What People Are Saying

I am one of the vendors here. My friends and I share a 2 space area outside of the actual flea market
This fleamarket is ok is the Coach of the fleamarket I guess, they do not sell enough Hispanic street food like the other fleamarkets but if you want to go to a fast and boring fleamarket with no live music and no one selling beer illegally this is your spot
I think all the stuff is stolen, idk. But its good to walk around

About Laney College Flea Market

Nestled in Oakland, the Laney College Flea Market offers a laid-back Sunday shopping experience from 5 AM to 5 PM. With numerous vendors, you can find everything from clothes and bags to tools, all at affordable prices. While some shoppers have noted that the market feels a bit sparse and lacks the vibrant energy of other local flea markets, it’s still a decent spot for a casual stroll and a few deals.

Vendors are friendly and offer a variety of goods. One local seller even assures customers that their electronic items are fully functional; they prioritize reputation over profit and accept returns. However, some visitors express disappointment over the limited food options, wishing for more Hispanic street fare and live music to enliven the atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon out, Laney College Flea Market provides a solid selection without the hustle and bustle of larger markets. Just be prepared for a quieter vibe and plan for parking, as it can get busy during peak hours.

Is there food at Laney College Flea Market?
Food options are limited compared to other Oakland flea markets. Visitors have mentioned wishing for more Hispanic street food vendors, so if that's a priority, you may want to grab food before or after your visit.
