What People Are Saying

I'm not sure how to rate a flea market. I could have bought a dog, chicken, shotgun, shampoo, plants, old records, trailer hitch, tire, baseball card, various old and new tools, a variety of food items in a package or being made on site, and so much more
I used to set up in the market a great place a lot of people come through I quit selling 2013 move to Arizona so I hope they still doing well
It is an amazing place to visit

About Pickens County Flea Market

In Pickens, South Carolina, the Pickens County Flea Market offers an eclectic shopping experience with everything from antiques to random oddities. Visitors have praised the variety, mentioning items like old records, tools, and even live animals. There seems to be no shortage of vendors, giving shoppers plenty to browse, although some have noted that the atmosphere can be a bit smoky and gritty underfoot—so wearing old shoes is a good idea.

Despite its charm, the market isn’t without its challenges. Some former vendors express frustration over management issues, particularly with the owner’s son, who has reportedly created a tense environment. This has led to a decline in customer satisfaction according to some reviews, with claims that good vendors are moving to other areas.

With open hours only on Wednesdays from 4 AM to 2 PM, parking is a necessity. It’s a place best visited if you enjoy a bit of adventure and don’t mind a crowded atmosphere. Expect to encounter a diverse mix of items and people, but keep in mind that some aspects of your visit could be hit-or-miss.
